Winners of the 2015 LATIN GRAMMY AWARD for the Best Classical Album, Duo Halász is formed by the Brazilian pianist DÉBORA HALÁSZ and her husband, the German guitarrist FRANZ HALÁSZ. They are internationaly acclaimed by the quality of their programs, excellence and virtuosity. "They play marvelously together, full of joy and good humor" (American Record Guide).

     Duo Halász has already released 6 albums, including original recordings and newarregements, and their broad repertoire ranges from barroque to contemporary composers. For BIS label, they recorded works by Shostakovich, Ginastera, Catelnuovo-Tedesco, Hans Haug, Manuel Ponce and Leo Brouwer. Their Album "ALMA BRASILEIRA" was awarded BEST CLASSICAL ALBUM by the  RECORDING ACADEMY. They also recorded 2 cds with Ferdinando Carulli’s original works for Naxos, on a co-production with Bayerische Rundfunk-BR and a CD with spanish music on harpsichord and guitar called Fandango.
